Refurbishment of a Grade I Listed Villa
This project involved the complete refurbishment of a Grade I listed townhouse overlooking Regent’s Park, undertaken for a returning developer client.
Working within a tightly controlled budget, the design focused on achieving a high-quality result through careful planning, material selection and efficient use of resources, while fully respecting the significance of the historic building.
The house benefits from exceptional natural light and direct views across the park, which informed the approach to the interior. Spaces were arranged to maximise light and create a natural flow throughout the house.
Working closely with the client, who had a strong vision for the final outcome, the design was developed into a cohesive sequence of rooms. Each space is carefully connected, creating a sense of progression and balance across the house.
The resulting interior is both refined and practical, combining the elegance of the original architecture with a clear and contemporary approach to living.
