Townhouse Refurbishment and Interior Restyle, Primrose Hill

This project involved the complete alteration and refurbishment of a listed townhouse in Primrose Hill for a developer client.

Working within a tight budget, the design focused on achieving maximum impact through careful planning, material selection and reuse. Rather than relying on new, high-cost finishes, the approach centred on sourcing and integrating salvaged materials that would sit comfortably within the historic fabric of the building.

The interior was developed to complement the character of the house while introducing a lighter, more contemporary feel. Existing architectural features were retained and enhanced, with new interventions kept deliberately simple and considered.

The client had an existing collection of furniture and artwork in storage, which was reintroduced and used to stage the property for sale. This allowed the interior to feel layered and complete, while maintaining a controlled budget.

The resulting aesthetic is minimal and eclectic, combining historic elements with carefully selected reclaimed materials and furnishings to create a space that feels both distinctive and cohesive.

The project demonstrates how thoughtful design and resourceful material use can deliver a refined interior, even within tight financial constraints.
